Mariam Tsindeliani, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Fourth-year bachelor's student of the faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, in her work studies the biological activity of bacteria, in particular, the reproduction under the influence of bacterial toxins and other biologically active factors. The paper uses a hypothesis according to which one of the limiting factors for the growth of bacteria are toxins, which are originating from itself, which at the same time are products of the bacteria's metabolism.. Within the framework of the research, a new system of equations was written for the modeling of the mentioned process. Mariam solved the system of equations and showed good accuracy with the experimental curve. The validity of the hypothesis was proved by simulations and experiments carried out on the model. The main result of this paper is to prove the presented hypothesis by matching the experimental curve and the graphical results of the new model. It is natural that the reproduction of bacteria should depend on other physical, chemical and biological factors, therefore the model also takes into account the influence of temperature and acidity during the reproduction of bacteria. Along with this, the paper clearly confirms the necessity of the biophysical approach in determining the mechanisms of bacterial reproduction and limiting factors, and the effectiveness of mathematical modeling in the study of microbiological and biophysical processes.
