Hydrochemical analysis of mineral and spring waters of some villages of Borjomi municipality on the content of heavy metals using microwave plasma atomic emission spectrometer

Water is unique component of the environment, which is vital for humans and plants. The main reason of our research was to identify the Borjomi municipality mineral and spring waters basic ions and heavy metals. The research was conducted in 9 wells ( # 25, 37, 38, 39, 47, 67, 70, 143, 144) and in the water of the spring ( Baniskhevi #2 ). Whithin this research, we determind physical characteristics of water ( color, smell, taste,Ph, turbidity, temperature). Chemical components, basic ions ( HCO3-, Cl-, SO42-, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+), some heavy metals (Cd, Zn, Cu, Ni და Mn), oxidizibality and F-. Nitrogenous compounds ( NO2-, NH4+ ). The obtained results were maneuvered within the framework of the normative document.
