Coordination compounds of mercury(ll) iodide with bisarsonium salts

Author: ani miminoshvili
Keywords: Arsenic, bisarsins, arsonium salts, ability to form complexes
Annotation:

The aim of our research was to study the interaction of arsonium salts with mercury iodide, as a cationic-anionic complex is formed. At this stage, the study of the compounds synthesized by us is not completed and will continue in the future. It was established that bisarines and their transformation products – iodides possess the ability to complexation, which creates the prospect of using this compound in practice both for the purpose of obtaining soluble and insoluble compounds. In this way it is possible to separate from each other both cationic and anionic analogues of elements, which is often difficult to carry out in analytical chemistry and metal technology. Based on our data, we can conclude that bisarsines and their transformation products have broad prospects in coordination chemistry.
