The optimal methodology for the synthesis of complex compound Me(C9H11O2N)2X4, where Me = Cu2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Cd2+, Co2+, X = Cl-, Br-, and C9H11O2N is ethyl-4-aminobenzoate, i.e. the well-known local anesthetic Anestesin (Benzocaine) is estimated. The study of complex compounds of toxic cadmium along with biometals is due to the necessity of observing the change in the properties of coordination compounds in addition to the increase of the metallic radius. The composition of the obtained compounds is determined by titrimetric methods. In particular, the metal content was calculated by complexonometric titration, and benzocaine by sodium nitrite titration. The solubility of synthesized complex compounds in water, alcohol, acetone and ether had been studied. The melting temperature of each of them has been measured.
